TV Tear Down
Mary Benton visited CompuCycle for Thursday's
press conference and gave a glimpse into the break
down of end-of-life TVs. Mary explains how "every
year about 20 million TV sets in this country are
disposed of, but only about 18% are even recycled.
So the fear is that after the DTV conversion more TV
sets like this one will be trashed."
